• Mike Gundy on balancing practicing tough and NIL compensation was pretty insightful:

“Like Coach (Bill) Parcells said one time: ‘Don’t expect to tackle good in the game if you don’t tackle in practice, and don’t expect your players to play hard in the game if you don’t practice hard,’” Gundy said. “I don’t think there’s any more truth to that than anything that’s ever been said. But now you’re tackling guys that are making a million dollars a year. Kind of want those guys to get out there and play. [PFB]
