• Reports are out that Hauss Hejny is set to start tomorrow’s season opener at quarterback (PFB)

• Here’s a list of Cowboys who made 53-man rosters – Brennan Presley and A.J. Green were cut by the Rams. Players can be signed to practice squads if they clear waivers (X)

• Three Cowboy golfers were named to the Haskins watch list, the college golf version of the Heisman trophy (OKState.com)

• Just plain great sportswriting here from Berry Tramel, eulogizing the 2024 Cowboy Football season. 

Mike Gundy kept his job in Stillwater, but virtually every other OSU coach was given the boot. Anyone with a wife who ever owned a Coach purse or rode coach on American Airlines was in danger, too. And the Cowboy roster was even more sand-blasted than was Tulsa’s.
