• Kickoff for next week’s OSU-Tulsa game has been pushed back (PFB)

• CBS national writer calling for the end of the Mike Gundy era in Stillwater (CBS Sports)

• While it was clearly unnerving to see OSU look like an FCS squad against Oregon, competing against peers with similar (less?) resources will determine the end of the Gundy era:

Iowa State, Kansas State and Arizona State have good football teams because each one is well-coached and has talent/stability at the quarterback position.

With regard to fan-base money and fan-base generosity, none of those schools is beyond OSU. [TulsaWorld]

• Updates around Cowboy Football – looking at how future and how future Cowboys played on Friday and previous Cowboys played on Sunday, respectively (PFB)

• Pretty solid thought here – Texas Tech is clearly hungry to win and is ready to try something. This thought explains why OSU is struggling to adapt. 

Maybe this is an obvious point, but it seems to me Texas Tech being bad-to-decent for about a decade before NIL/Portal changed the game was a pretty significant advantage over Oklahoma State being good-to-very good over the same time.
