It’s official visit season for the 2026 class of basketball prospects.

Oklahoma State is set to host four-star prospect Latrell Allmond next week. Allmond is the No. 26 player in the class, per the 247Sports Composite ranking. Along with his scheduled visit to Stillwater, he also has visits set up to Tennessee (this weekend) and Virginia (Sept. 26). Allmond has already visited Indiana and also has offers to Kansas, LSU, Michigan and others.

OSU offered Allmond last June, as he was among the first 2026 prospects the Steve Lutz regime had offered.

Listed at 6-foot-8, 225 pounds, Allmond hails from Petersburg High School in Richmond, Virginia. That seems to be an area of the country OSU associate head coach James Miller is plugged in at. On OSU’s 2025-26 roster, there are two players from Virginia (Kanye Clary and Isaiah Coleman) and two players from North Carolina (Jaylen Curry and Ryan Crotty). Crotty is a four-star freshman who signed in the 2025 class, and he played his senior year of high school in Virginia.

“The reason to go check them out is that I kind of met coach Lutz over the summer, and who I’m really close to there is Coach James Miller,” Allmond told 247Sports’ Eric Bossi. “He has been recruiting me since I was in ninth grade and he was at Mississippi State. He’s always kept tabs on me and is one of those guys who needed to be at the right program. Once he got with the right program that level of consideration from me jumped up higher because I’ve been rocking with him forever.”

Allmond played his AAU ball with Team Loaded in Adidas’ 3SSB league. He averaged 14.7 points, 7.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.6 blocks a game in 3SSB play this year, shooting 55% from the field and 31% from 3. A lot of Team Loaded’s possessions this summer ended with Allmond hanging on the rim.
