Oklahoma State Offers 2028 Bixby OL Gavin Wilson
The Cowboys get in early on an in-state lineman.
Eric Morris may be cleaning up in the transfer portal, but he has not forgotten about the in-state high school prospects.
Gavin Wilson, an interior offensive lineman from Bixby High School, announced an Oklahoma State offer on Wednesday via his X account.
Being a 2028 prospect, Wilson has yet to be assigned any recruiting stars.
The 6-foot-2, 255-pound sophomore still has a ways to go in his recruitment, but the Cowboys aren’t the only ones that have come calling. Wilson has reported offers from Oregon, Purdue and his hometown school, Tulsa, as well. Purdue was the first offer reported back in November, followed by Tulsa in December. The Ducks offered Jan. 7. Wilson also took an unofficial visit to Oklahoma last fall.
Morris and his staff are not ignoring the local prospects. OSU has offers to 13 in-state recruits in the 2027 class and Wilson is the fourth Oklahoma prospect to be offered in the 2028 cycle joining quarterback Creed Barrett (Washington) wide receiver David Thomas (Stillwater) and athlete Kamieon Compton-Nero (Owasso).
Take a look at Wilson’s 2025 highlights.
