OSU Bullets

• A court ruled Brendan Sorsby eligible to play in 2026 following a two-game suspension to the surprise of many. [PFB]

• Ross Dellenger spoke with some ADs from the Big 12 and elsewhere. Schools and other conferences are discussing not playing Texas Tech. [Yahoo]

“It’s f***ing bulls***. I know the kid has a problem. Well, get well and focus on your problem. It is absolutely devastating for him to be able to play when every other sport, no matter the level, deems an athlete ineligible or they are punished severely for betting on their team.” — K-State AD Gene Taylor to Yahoo.

• Lastly on Sorsby, Josh Pate went on with Rich Eisen in a discussion I found interesting on the matter.

Ruby Meylan signed with the OKC Spark. [PFB]

Steve Lutz spoke with Hoops HQ about his new squad. Lutz meets with the local media today, so expect more OSU hoops content over the next few days. [Hoops HQ]

“This year’s team seems to be much more focused on the processes of winning and those sorts of things. And focused on teamwork. You can already tell the way they’re wired based on our research.” — Steve Lutz to Hoops HQ

Non-OSU Bullets

• The Spurs went into a hostile MSG and got a much-needed win, crawling back into the series.

• Perhaps the greatest soccer player to ever live standing next to a quarterback Alan Bowman beat in the 2023 Texas Bowl.
