OSU Baseball: Kollin Ritchie Tabbed as an All-American
Ritchie’s 31 home runs led the Big 12.
The Big 12’s home run leader is an All-American.
Junior Oklahoma State outfielder Kollin Ritchie was named to the All-American second team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. It is Ritchie’s first All-American honor and comes after one of the best hitting seasons in school history.
His 31 home runs led the Big 12 and ranks third nationally. That total ranks second all-time at OSU behind only Pete Incaviglia’s NCAA record of 48 back in 1985. As of writing, Ritchie is second in the conference in slugging percentage (.804), second in runs scored (81), third in runs batted in (75) and is second in on base + slugging PCT (1.266).
Ritchie led the cowboys with 20 multi-RBI games including a history-making three home runs in a win over TCU, including the walk-off winner.
