The Cowboys added a second transfer on the weekend Sunday night.

Aubrey Kearns, an infielder transferring from Morehead State, announced that he was transferring to Oklahoma State via his X account.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound sophomore hails from Nicholasville, Kentucky where he starred at West Jessamine High School. As a freshman for the Eagles in 2025, Kearns played both first and second base and batted .240 with six home runs and an on-base percentage of .318.

As a sophomore in 2026, he focused more on the offensive side, and it paid off. Kearns batted .387 with 12 home runs and boasted an OBS of .471. That spike in offensive output landed Kearns on the All-Ohio Valley Conference First Team as a designated hitter. Last year, he ranked in the Top 4 in the OVC in hitting, hits (82), home runs and RBI (59).

This commitment came just a day after the Cowboys landed Utah transfer pitcher Kaden Soder.

Here’s a highlight reel from when Kearns announced he was entering the transfer portal in May.
