Oklahoma State Offers 2028 In-State QB Zealand Danielson
The Cowboys are after an exciting in-state talent.
Eric Morris and his staff extended a ton of offers following an in-person camp this past weekend, but one of the more exciting was to an in-state QB.
Zealand Danielson, a 2028 passer starring for Yukon High School, announced an offer from the Cowboys via his X account.
After a great camp with Oklahoma state I’m very blessed to receive an offer @RivalsHs @Rivals @247recruiting @247Sports @ChadSimmons_ @GregBiggins @UANextFootball @TomLoy247 @samspiegs @BrandonHuffman @Andy_Villamarzo @klose_trey @MillersFB @Trentsmith88 pic.twitter.com/XfFzSzoBWU

Danielson is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound rising junior for the Millers. Although he hasn’t been ranked yet by 247Sports (still early for 2028 rankings), he’s a three-star prospect according to Rivals and the No. 11 talent in the state. But while the external scouts are still catching up, plenty of Power Four coaching staffs have been high on him for a long time.
Arizona offered him two years ago, followed by offers from the likes of Arizona State and UNLV last spring. Things have picked up this summer with Baylor, Kansas State and Iowa State all throwing their hats in the ring before the Cowboys offered on June 20.
A review of some of his tape shows obvious arm talent and the ability to break loose and make plays with his feet. Here is taking part in the Raising Champions Elite QB Training. He also took part in the Adidas Polynesian Bowl Combine this spring.
Zealand Danielson been on a DIFFERENT type of offseason! 👀
No shortcuts. No excuses. No days wasted.
That QB grind is showing and it’s only February. C/O 2028 QB1 on the rise. 📈#RaisingChampions #OffSeasonWork #BuiltInTheDark #EliteQBTraining pic.twitter.com/qSLt2Txi3W— Raising Champions (@raisingchamps_) February 26, 2026
The Cowboys appear to be the clubhouse leader for Danielson, according to On3’s prediction. His vicinity to Stillwater and the chance to work with a bonafide QB whisperer in Eric Morris probably don’t hurt the Pokes’ prospects.
