OSU-Oregon Highlights: Drew Mestemaker Airs It Out, Finds Wyatt Young for 52-Yard TD
Mestemaker has some wheels.

After a second batted pass was intercepted and gave Oregon a TD, the young QB answers with an impressive 52-yard TD to Wyatt Young.

The Pokes add to their lead. This time Caleb Hawkins just pushes through Oregon’s vaunted defensive front. He’s got 67 yards on 10 carries and the Cowboys are up 17-7 midway through the second.

The Cowboys retake the lead with a 1-yard touchdown connection between Drew Mestemaker and Carson Kolb. Another nice face from the Cowboys QB.

Things got off to a fast start for OSU on both sides of the ball.
After the Cowboys’ defense held No. 6 Oregon to an opening drive three-and-out, Mestemaker added a play to OSU’s season highlight reel.
On the first play from scrimmage, Mestemaker keep it on a zone read. The complete defense followed Caleb Hawkins, and Mestemaker saw nothing but turf and showed off his wheels.

The Cowboys would have to settle for 3 but it did allow them to take an early lead.
