Carson Benge continued his breakout rookie season by making some history. The former Cowboy and No. 19th overall pick set a New York Mets rookie record with his 156th hit of the season in the Mets’ 154th game. He started his hitting with his 19th home run, bringing him within one hit of Pete Alonso’s record. [PFB]
