The OSU defense is struggling. Aiden Flora went 75 yards to the house on the first play of Iowa State’s first drive of the fourth quarter to make it 45-35 Cyclones.

After Iowa State responded with a touchdown, Justin Bowick showed how freaky he is with this Moss to start the fourth quarter.

OSU punted on its first drive out of the half. Iowa State responded with a touchdown that got the crowd rather hyped up.

But then Hawkins silenced it with a 75-yard TD run with some excellent blocking from Justin Bowick on the perimeter.

Following consecutive Iowa State TDs, Mestemaker answered with a TD, this time an 11-yard connection with Justin Bowick.

The Cowboys take the lead, but this drive was much shorter than their last one.

On the third play of the possession, Mestemaker found Caleb Hawkins two yards behind the line and he goes 59 yards to the end zone. Cowboys up 14-7.

Things got off to an exciting start in Ames.

After the Cyclones opened things up with a touchdown, the Cowboys answered with a 12-play, 75-yard touchdown drive capped by a 10-yard connection between Drew Mestemaker and Wyatt Young to make it 7-7.
