Handsome Tanielu Spurns Cowboys for Utes
Just weeks after saying he “will probably end up committing there (OSU) soon, three-star defensive tackle Handsome Tanielu verbally committed to Utah on Tuesday afternoon.

Tanielu is a 6-foot-2, 305 pound defensive tackle from Snow College, and appears would have filled in nicely next season in what has suddenly become a very young defensive line.
Tanielu may have been influenced by the success Utah has had with sending Polynesian players to the NFL in recent years. Both Star Lotulelei and Tenny Palepoi are both in the NFL after stints at Utah, and perhaps Tanieuli could be next in line.
There are plenty of fish in the sea, but the most disappointing part of the news is that we will never have the opportunity to hear that name announced by Larry Reece. “HANDSOME TANIELU WITH THE SACK!”
