Oklahoma State-Baylor is First Top 10 Matchup in Stillwater in 30 Years
In case you needed more fuel for Saturday night, Oklahoma State hasn’t played a top 10 matchup in Stillwater since 1985. That’s shocking to me. The last time it happened was October 1985 when No. 5 OSU lost to No. 9 Nebraska 34-24.
When No. 10 Baylor visits No. 4 #okstate Saturday, it will, surprisingly, be the 1st AP top 10 matchup in Stillwater since 1985.

The closest OSU has gotten since then?
In 2014, No. 11 OSU played No. 3 Baylor in Stillwater.
In 2011, No. 3 OSU played No. 13 OU in Stillwater (look at OU, always dragging us down).
In 2008, No. 11 OSU played No. 3 OU in Stillwater.
In 1987, No. 12 OSU played No. 1 Nebraska.
And that’s pretty much it. An odd quirk that I wouldn’t have thought was the case.
By the way, last time a top 10 Baylor team came to Stillwater, this happened.
