Pro Football Focus Projects Ogbah as Top Ten Pick
Perhaps the most beneficial thing to transpire this offseason for Emmanuel Ogbah was a game in which he did not play. In Super Bowl 50, pass rushers dominated the field, with linebacker Von Miller making several game-changing plays and earning SB MVP.
There’s no better time than now for defensive ends and hybrid linebackers to enter the draft with the value of rushers being so obviously high.
Denver DL athletes a good reminder for this years draft-if you have a chance to get a DL who can be a difference maker you take him! Period!

Ogbah was recently projected as an almost lock to be a late first round pick, but Pro Football Focus now projects him to go the Giants with the No. 10 pick in the draft.
Here’s PFF:
Ogbah graded right behind (Ohio State’s Joey) Bosa and (Michigan State’s Shilique) Calhoun as a pass rusher (+35.1) after picking up 11 sacks, 16 hits, and 42 hurries on 428 rushes. He’s not as strong against the run but he has the length to get better in that area. He’ll add some much-needed youth to the Giants’ pass rush.
It’s still very early in the process with the NFL combine approaching towards the end of February, but the value of a good pass rusher coupled with the acknowledgement of Ogbah’s improved evaluations already show he could be making moves up team’s draft boards ahead of the NFL draft in April.
