Spencer Misko Finds Fit at Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State’s big recruiting weekend in Stillwater was headlined by four verbal commitments, one being 2017 Keller tight end Spencer Misko.
Misko, who has a wealth of experience at defensive end, too, was offered on Sunday and didn’t need much time to think about where he wanted to go.
“Oklahoma State just feels right,” he said in an interview with PFB. “The people, the coaches, the football — everything about it just felt good and made me feel at home. The football program is top notch and the TE position is in need, so I feel I can show out there and do what I do best,” he said.
The situation he’ll step into obviously made the decision a little bit easier, but it was the coaching staff that put him over the top.
“I met with the coaches and Mike Gundy at the mini camp and they offered me on the spot [on Sunday]. I knew what I wanted so I committed right then and there, and I’m not regretting my decision at all.”
Misko is listed at 6-5, 224-pounds and is rated a three-star prospect by 247sports.
