Brooklyn Nets Make Qualifying offer to Markel Brown
KP’s favorite NBA dude, Zach Lowe, is reporting that the Nets have made Markel Brown a qualifying offer and is now a restricted free agent.

With this new development, Brown is able to search out the market and teams can make an offer for his services. However, restricted means that Brooklyn can match any offer sheet that comes his way and they can retain him if they choose to do so.
