For the Second Straight Year a Cowboy Takes the Scottish Open
Here’s the new UK (per my proposal): England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Oklahoma State East Campus. Alex Noren took the Scottish Open on Sunday over Danny Lee and others which means for the second straight season a Poke has taken the tournament leading up to the Open Championship.
Last year it was Rickie Fowler who took Gullane. This year it was Noren who took Castle Stuart by one with a 2-under 70 on Sunday.

“I’m so happy it’s over because it was a tough, tough leaderboard,” Noren said. “A lot of guys at 11, 12, 13 under and it was just not a cruising win at all. Thinking about it this morning, how much it would mean, then it feels like miles away and now when it happens, it just feels unbelievable.”
The win is the fifth in Noren’s time on the European Tour, but he called this one “the biggest win of my career.”
King of the castle!
