WATCH: Josh Holliday Looks Back At OSU’s Run To Omaha
We have heard off and on from Josh Holliday since Oklahoma State’s season ended to Arizona in Omaha, but this is the first sit-down he’s done, I believe. And it is predictably very good.
“I think instinctively we always believed in this group because of the core leadership that existed,” said Holliday. “[They] had basically played first or second in the Big 12 from start to finish their entire careers. To say that you could know this type of streak existed — we knew it was in there — to get to it was the challenge.”
As for why he was feeling down halfway through the season when OSu was scuffling a little bit.
“The number of invested moments with these kids, you want to see them have that experience. You want to see them reach their potential. The kids wouldn’t let the game or the vision for the team get away from them.”
I want to go back in time and play baseball for Josh Holliday. On to next season.
