Final Odds For Oklahoma State’s 2016 Season
The college football season (sort of) started last week in Australia, but it starts for real tomorrow night. I thought we should take one last look at what OSU’s odds are going into the games.
To Win Big 12 (Bovada)
- Oklahoma: 4-5
- TCU: 5-1
- Oklahoma State: 13-2
- Texas: 13-2
- Baylor: 9-1
- West Virginia: 12-1
- Texas Tech: 20-1
- Kansas State: 40-1
- Iowa State: 100-1
- Kansas: 250-1
What would Kansas have to be for you to bet $100 on it? A million? Ten million? Tech and WVU are probably the best bets here although OSU is a decent one as well. Baylor at 9-1 is tasty too. Basically anyone but OU.
To Win National Title (Westgate Superbook)
- Alabama: 6-1
- Clemson: 7-1
- Florida State: 7-1
- Ohio State: 8-1
- Oklahoma: 12-1
- TCU: 30-1
- Oklahoma State: 80-1
- Texas: 100-1
The interesting thing here is that OSU started the calendar year at 40-1 and dropped this much. I think 80-1 is a pretty good digit to bet on this year’s team. Certainly better than Texas at 100-1 with 100 different options at QB.
To Win Heisman (Westgate Superbook)
- Deshaun Watson: 9-2
- Christian McCaffrey: 5-1
- Leonard Fournette: 6-1
- Baker Mayfield: 12-1
- Samaje Perine: 20-1
- Mason Rudolph: 50-1
I’m with the ESPN guys that a Big 12 QB will be in NYC for the presentation. The question is just which one that will be. Rudolph at 50-1 might be a steal.
Win Total (Westgate Superbook)
- Over 8: -130
- Under 8: +110
So you have to bet $130 to win $100 if you take the over and you can bet $100 to win $110 if you take the under. Goodness, the over seems lock-y, doesn’t it? (I’m going to regret saying that aren’t I?) I’m drunk on orange Kool-Aid! Somebody bring me back!
