Michael Hunter Called up from New York Giants Practice Squad
Former Oklahoma State cornerback Michael Hunter, who spent one year in Stillwater after transferring from Indiana, has been called up to the New York Giants active roster from the practice squad as first reported by Dan Duggan of NJ.com and later confirmed by the Giants in a tweet:

Giants safety Mykkele Thompson will be placed on injured reserve after suffering a knee injury, which opens up the spot for Hunter to be promoted.
Hunter signed with the Giants out of college as an undrafted free agent, and was released as the team made their final roster cuts, but has been on the practice squad since. He has yet to play in a regular season game in the NFL, but did have two tackles and a pass break up in the preseason against the New England Patriots.
