Uniform Predictions: Oklahoma State-Texas
Time to take a look at the orangest uni matchup we’ll see this season as Oklahoma State plays Texas on Saturday in Austin. Here are our picks.
Kyle Porter
White-black on jersey and pants feels like a lock since they’ve won four in a row while wearing it. I don’t really believe in my white badge helmet pick, but because I already had the information that Carson was going Icy Pete, I didn’t want to copy (having all the information is not always better!) I think my helmet is probably the least likely of the three picked to be worn, but I love this look (which OSU also wore at TCU).
Carson Cunningham
I wanted to go black-white-black, but they’ve already worn the badge black helmet and the Pete black helmet so I think they’ll bust out the Icy Pete for the Horns in Austin. RIP Brand (for the 15th week in a row). I agree with Kyle that they shouldn’t go all white for Texas.

2011: B/W/B Win
2013: B/W/B Win
2015: O/W/B Win
2017: O/W/B (probably) Win (probably)
White jersey, black pants is pretty much a lock at this point, right? When it comes to the helmet, I think OSU will want to throw in America’s Brightest Orange against Texas, especially since we’ve already seen B/W/B this season at Pitt. I’m going out on a limb with the orange badge helmet because it’s not real (fake news).
