Ahead of Win Over Iowa, Jakason Burks Commits to Wrestle at Oklahoma State
Before the Iowa dual, Oklahoma State wrestling got another win.
If you are an Oklahoma State wrestling fan and you spent your Sunday in Gallagher-Iba Arena you probably came away feeling pretty good. But OSU got some good news even before what we saw on the mat in the dual vs. Iowa.
Jakason Burks, who is ranked No. 15 overall in the 2020 class according to Flowrestling, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State via Twitter.
After many visits and deep thought I’ve decided to commit 100% to Oklahoma State! Thank you to all the coaches who have expressed interests in me and the coaches who have got me here! ? #GoPokes pic.twitter.com/GNjYxpcEOi

Burks listed OSU in his top five in December. He’s a lower weight wrestler that projects as a 125 or 133 in college. Burks is undoubtedly an elite recruit and now bumps this 2020 OSU class into one of the best in recent memory.
Burks along with current 2020 commits Dustin Plott, Konner Doucet, and Trevor Mastrogiovanni sets OSU up with the Nos. 2, 10, 15, and 24 recruits for that class according to Flowrestling.
