An unofficial kickoff to the 2026 football season will take place in a couple of weeks at Big 12 Media Days, and we now know which players will be there to preview the season.

Big 12 Media Days is set to take place July 7 and 8 at The Star in Frisco, and on Friday the conference announced which representatives from the league’s 16 teams will be in attendance.

Eric Morris will bring four Cowboys to his first Big 12 Media Days as Oklahoma State’s coach: Drew Mestemaker, Caleb Hawkins, Jaleel Johnson and Ethan Wesloski. Three from that quartet were with Morris last season at North Texas, while Johnson is a rare holdover from the previous regime.

A dozen quarterbacks will be there, with Arizona State, Texas Tech, Kansas and West Virginia being the only schools without a QB.

There will also be some former Cowboys in attendance. Arizona State safety Lyrik Rawls is on his third Big 12 team after spending four seasons with Oklahoma State and another with Kansas. West Virginia is bringing receiver Jaden Bray, who was at OSU for three seasons.
