Big Football Recruiting Weekend On Tap With Prospects Flocking to OSU
It’s a big weekend for the Cowboys’ staff.

It’s a big recruiting weekend for the Cowboys.
In this first weekend of spring practices, the Cowboys are hosting a bevy of prospects at Boone Pickens Stadium. Here is a look at some who have announced they’ll be in town.
Xavier Robinson, 2024, Running Back
A highly touted back from Carl Albert High, Xavier Robinson’s stock has started to soar as of late.
Along with an Oklahoma State offer, Robinson has offers to Oklahoma, Kansas State, Iowa State, Colorado, Kansas, Vanderbilt and others.
He ran for 2,594 yards and 39 touchdowns for the Titans this past season as they battled their way to a 5A state championship.
Caleb Hackleman, 2024, Offensive Line
After picking up an OSU offer earlier this month, offensive lineman Caleb Hackleman will spend his birthday weekend in Stillwater.
Listed at 6-foot-6, 275 pounds, Hackleman also has offers to Baylor, Texas Tech, Memphis and Austin Peay. It won’t be Hackleman’s first time on campus. He was in Stillwater for a game this past November.
From Texarkana, Texas, Hackleman attends Pleasant Grove High School, the same high school that produced OSU linebackers Xavier Benson and Nick Martin.
Legend Journey, 2024, Defensive Line
Legend Journey would add to OSU’s all-name class alongside Will Smith and Willie Nelson.
Listed at 6-foot-2, 250 pounds out of Mansfield Summit High (Texas), Journey is the No. 746 player in the 2024 class. He picked up an Oklahoma State offer last May and also has offers from TCU, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Houston, Washington and others.
As a junior last season, Journey accounted for 54 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, two sacks, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
Zach Smith, 2024, Linebacker
A 6-1, 200-pound linebacker out of Red Oak, Texas, Zach Smith has yet to announce an Oklahoma State offer, but that could change by weekend’s end.
Smith has, however, announced offers to Baylor, Utah, Florida State, Arizona State and others.
Playing for Red Oak High School (the same high school OSU safety Raymond Gay II attended), Smith had 101 tackles, nine tackles for loss, five sacks, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery last season.
Fatu Mukuba, 2024, Wide Receiver
Another prospect who hasn’t officially announced an OSU offer, Fatu Mukuba is a 5-11 wide out from Austin, Texas.
Mukuba has announced offers from Kansas State, Colorado, North Texas, Rice and others.
He caught 23 passes for 322 yards and five touchdowns as a junior.
LaMason Waller, 2025, Athlete
The No. 80 player in all of the 2025 class, LaMason Waller is a 6-foot-2 athlete from Hesperia, California.
As you’d expect of a prospect of his caliber, Waller has offers to a lot of high-level programs including Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Oregon, Florida State and Arkansas.
Waller tagged OSU offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn in the tweet announcing his visit, meaning OSU is likely after Waller as a wide receiver.
Tyler Parker, 2025, Defensive Line
Having just finished his sophomore season in California, Tyler Parker has already announced offers to Miami, Notre Dame, Colorado, Arizona and Cal.
He is listed at 6-foot, 300 pounds, making him an ideal candidate for the interior of OSU’s new 3-3-5 defense.
