BlogPoll – Week 5

Oklahoma State has moved up to #5 in the AP and #6 in the coaches poll after Saturday’s massive comeback over Texas A&M.

As for my BlogPoll? Same story.

I jumped them up past Stanford this week, I’d been looking for a decent excuse to do so since Stanford hasn’t really been blowing me away and the second half in College Station gave it to me. OSU has a top five team, trouble is, I’m not sure who I can move them past unless Bucky stumbles against Nebraska at home, Bama gets beat in the swamp, or Florida goes into Death Valley and slays #1.

Speaking of #1, like many other voters I bumped the fightin’ hatters up past OU after their impressive rout in Morgantown. You go on the road to Mississippi State, WVU, and destroy Oregon in a neutral site game to open the year and you deserve to be number one.

Not a ton of change otherwise inside the top ten. Obviously A&M drops out and Arkansas and West Virginia slide down as well.

It kills me that to put Baylor where I continue to put them but you can’t argue with what they’ve Robert Griffin has done so far.
