Oklahoma State running back Justice Hill didn’t have a career game individually Saturday, but another solid day of work inched Hill up OSU’s career rushing lists.

The Cowboys recognized Barry Sanders’ 30th anniversary a Heisman-winning season in OSU’s 38-35 victory against Texas. Hill finished the game with 23 carries for 92 yards and is now 412 yards from Sanders in the school’s all-time rushing yardage list. There are still two former running backs between Hill and Sanders. Hill is only 24 yards behind Tatum Bell, who sits in seventh on the list.

Thurman Thomas 5,001 1984-87
Terry Miller 4,754 1974-77

Somewhere Hill doesn’t have a good shot at catching Sanders is on the all-time rushing touchdowns list. Sanders is 25 touchdowns ahead of Hill, who has 28 rushing touchdowns in his career.

Saturday was the second straight game Hill didn’t find the end zone, thus leaving him six rushing scores behind Bell and Jeremy Smith with at least four games left this season.
