Almost a year ago, Chris Harris got the worst type of news a young, budding freshman can get. He would be done for the remainder of the season thanks to a knee injury.

Now the sophomore guard must be feeling the worst type of deja vu, as news came out of Mike Boynton’s radio show Thursday night that the sophomore guard has another knee injury and will be done for another year.

Harris was inactive for Oklahoma State’s home win over Kansas on Monday night and was seen in crutches during warmups.

Harris played six minutes in the Cowboys’ opener again UT-Arlington, scoring four quick points and grabbing a steal before hitting the floor and getting up awkwardly. He did not return to the game and hasn’t returned to the Cowboys’ lineup since.

As a freshman in 2019-20, Harris appeared in 22 games and started three, averaging 3.4 points and 1.1 rebounds in 15 minutes per game.
