Chuba Hubbard Named Walter Camp All-American, Adds Cryptic Instagram Post
Chuba says: “One more…”
Chuba Hubbard and Mike Gundy were chumming it up with ESPN personalities on the red carpet at The Home Depot College Football Award Show on Thursday night in Atlanta, but failed to bring home any hardware.
On a night that was mostly disappointing for Chuba (and OSU fans), he did at least garner some recognition when he was named to the Walter Camp All-American first team.
He’s the first OSU running back earn that honor since Kendall Hunter in 2010 and the sixth to do so overall joining the likes of Barry Sanders, Ernest Anderson, Terry Miller and Bob Fenimore.
Hubbard’s 1,936 rushing yards leads the nation and is the second-most in a season at OSU behind Sanders. He picked up Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and more All-American honors are likely to follow. But could the lack of hardware leave him wanting more?
After losing out on both the Doak Walker Award (nation’s top running back) and the Walter Camp Player of the Year honors, both of which he was a finalist for, Chuba posted this to his Instagram account.

One more what? Game? Season? Snub? Chip on his shoulder? One more OSU running back leaving early for the NFL??? We’ll have to wait to find out, but be sure we’ll be doing so with bated breath.
