Cowboy Basketball Bounces Back, Tops Netherlands 61-49 in Second Euro Game
Somewhere in Rome, in an arena that resembled a middle school gym, the Oklahoma State basketball team defeated the Netherlands reserve team, picking up its first win on the Cowboys’ European tour.
OSU defeated the Dutch 61-49. Michael Weathers bounced back from a rough first game on the tour with a team-high 10 points and 5 rebounds.
No official stats were kept, but every OSU player who played in the game scored.
The Cowboys slotted graduate transfer point guard Mike Cunningham into the starting lineup, removing freshman center Yor Anei from the first unit, meaning 6-foot-7 forward Cameron McGriff started the game at center. Cunningham, Thomas Dziagwa and freshman big man Kentrevious Jones all finished with eight points.
Freshman guard Isaac Likekele had another impressive outing, scoring five points, grabbing five rebounds and dishing out four assists.

OSU will finish its European tour in Athens, Saturday at noon, against the Greek All-Stars.
