Cowboys Don Black-White-Orange Uniform Combo for Boise State
Cowboys wearing a traditional Bedlam getup against Boise.
Oklahoma State is going with a classic tri-color combo for a first-time trip.
In their first visit to the cobalt field of Albertsons Stadium, the Cowboys will contrast nicely with the black-white-orange combo made famous in Norman.
OSU is wearing a black helmet (with the orange brand), white jersey and orange pants.
The Cowboys are 2-4 in this kit and have donned these colors six times. Four of those were road games against OU, the single Bedlam win coming in 2014 thanks to a true freshman Mason Rudolph, Tyreek Hill and Bob Stoops (congrats on the Hall of Fame nod).
But this isn’t exactly a feel-good road getup for the Pokes. OSU was wearing this combination when it took a gut-wrenching loss to Iowa State in 2011. OSU also beat Colorado in the 2016 Alamo Bowl, but with the black barbed wire lid.
If you’re not superstitious, this is one of the better looks that Oklahoma State has and, again, it should look great (or at least visible) against that Smurf-colored turf.
