Cowboys Eyeing Another OL for 2016 class
Could OSU land it’s 3rd OL commit in the 2016 class soon?
On Tuesday, 2016 offensive lineman Ryan McCollum announced he received his 9th scholarship offer from Oklahoma State. McCollum is a 6-foot-6, 270 pound offensive lineman from Klein Oak High in Spring, Texas.
In an interview with gopokes.com, McCollum told Robert Allen, “I was excited because Oklahoma State was one of my top schools and they hadn’t offered yet. I was pushing to get that offer and when I got it I was excited, and my whole family was excited about it.”

The three-star offensive lineman has offers from TCU, Texas Tech, Air Force, Houston, and others. Oklahoma State already has two offensive line commitments in the 2016 class, but I would expect they take in at least one more – and McCollum could certainly be a guy that fits what OSU is looking for.
He is expected to commit before August 10, so it appears we will find out soon just how much the OSU offer impacts his decision.
