Cowboys Offer 2024 Linebacker Davhon Keys
Keys is a two-way star and competes in power lifting meets.

The Cowboys are getting in early on a dynamic linebacker out of Texas.
Oklahoma State is the first Big 12 school to offer an impressive Texas underclassmen, but it won’t likely be the last. On Thursday, Aledo High linebacker Davhon Keys announced an OSU offer via this Twitter account.
Who Is He?
Keys is a 5-11, 190-pound two-way playmaker who showed out as a sophomore. This past season, Keys was named to the Padilla Poll All-State Defense Second Team as an outside linebacker for 5A-DII. He was one of only two sophomores to make that list. Keys also plays running back, but seeing that he tagged members of the Cowboys’ defensive staff, it’s safe to assume OSU is looking for him as a defender.
Fun fact: Rob Glass would be pleased to know that that Keys also performs in power lifting. In his first two meets (last month), he finished fourth and third place, respectively.
Others Involved
The Cowboys may be the first Big 12 program to come calling, but they aren’t the first Power Conference team. Pittsburgh and Arizona offered in late 2021, as did SMU. Expect that list to continue to grow, and fast.
In the Rankings
Keys is unranked, being a Class of 2024 prospect. But 247 has only released its Top 100 for the class.
Keys’ Sophomore Highlights
A look at his sophomore highlights reveals plenty of, well, highlights. The first two minutes of tape is exclusively interceptions and sacks on defense and touchdowns on offense. I wouldn’t expect him to live under the radar for long.
