The Cowgirls are looking to bounce back from a tough 2025.

The Oklahoma State soccer team released its 2026 schedule on Wednesday, with the Cowgirls opening with an exhibition on Aug. 6 before the true season gets started on Aug. 12 against Sam Houston.

Here’s the schedule in full:

Date Opponent
Aug. 6 Tulsa (exhibition)
Aug. 12 Sam Houston
Aug. 16 Stephen F. Austin
Aug. 20 Oklahoma
Aug. 27 at Mississippi State
Aug. 30 Grambling State
Sept. 3 San Diego State
Sept. 6 SEMO
Sept. 13 Central Arkansas
Sept. 17 TCU
Sept. 24 at Baylor
Sept. 27 at Houston
Oct. 2 Arizona
Oct. 8 Texas Tech
Oct. 11 at UCF
Oct. 16 Arizona State
Oct. 22 Utah
Oct. 25 West Virginia
Oct. 29 at Iowa State
Nov. 5 at Colorado

OSU is coming off a 4-13-2 season on the pitch, the Cowgirls’ fewest wins in a season since 2000. It wasn’t that the Cowgirls were just getting ran off the field, though. Six of those losses came by a single goal.

Colin Carmichael had to reshape his roster a bit this offseason. Among the six Cowgirls who scored multiple goals last season, only Sonora Defini (four goals) and Reganne Morris (two) are on the 2026 roster.

That might not necessarily be viewed as a bad thing for a squad that scored 20 goals in 2025, tied for the third-lowest among Big 12 schools. But where the Cowgirls really need to get better is in defense after allowing 36 goals last season — most in the conference.
