Cowgirls Upset No. 23 TCU in Fort Worth
OSU is 2-1 in Big 12 play.
The Cowgirls rode out of Fort Worth with an upset victory.
Oklahoma State upended No. 23 TCU 67-59 on Saturday in Fort Worth to get above .500 in Big 12 play at 2-1. The Cowgirls are 2-0 in 2024 after winning back-to-back road games to UCF and TCU. OSU improved to 9-5 this season.
The Cowgirls used an 8-0 quick start to give TCU its first halftime deficit of the season, 39-25. The Horned Frogs did get within four to start the fourth quarter, but OSU put together a 7-0 run to extend its lead to 11 and put the game away.
Redshirt freshman Praise Egharevba came off the bench to lead the Cowgirls with a career-high 14 points, along with seven rebounds and a block. She put together a +15, also a team high, in the upset.
Three other Cowgirls scored double-digits, as Stailee Heard and Quincy Noble each put up 11 apiece and Lior Garzon notched 10.
The Cowgirls will return to Stillwater to host Texas Tech at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
