After Being Cut, Kevin Peterson Re-Signed by Chicago Bears
After being cut last Tuesday by the team who signed him as an undrafted free agent, Kevin Peterson is getting another shot in the NFL with the same team according to a report from Jake Perper of Chicago Now. The Chicago Bears released him last week after claiming cornerback K’Wuan Williams off waivers, however Williams did not pass his physical which re-opened the door for Peterson.
Peterson should get his fair shot in the Thursday preseason finale, with the Bears’ top three cornerbacks Tracy Porter, Kyle Fuller and Bryce Callahan all injured.
Through the preseason, the former Oklahoma State cornerback has tallied one tackle.
