OSU Bullets

• The Cowgirls scored a monster victory over rival (and top-ranked) OU Sooners in softball last night – Cowgirls won 6-4 (PFB)

• The format for OSU’s spring game was announced (PFB)

What a wild ride for running backs coach Patrick Cobbs—recruiting player after player, only to see them poached by a bigger program (OSU), and then ultimately getting to recruit his best player (Caleb Hawkins) there to coach him himself:

“I figured Oklahoma State has came in and offered a bunch of kids right after I’ve offered them,” Cobbs said. “And I’ve lost them to ‘em: (multiple) Presleys, Jaleel Johnson, like I’ve offered a bunch of kids that end up leaving North Texas and coming to Oklahoma State. And that’s what I was worried about. … (Caleb Hawkins) slipped through the cracks, and I was kind of thankful for it.” [PFB]

Updates from spring camp on KD Jones and the youngest Presley brother (PFB)

•  Sounds impressive:

Non-OSU Bullets

• The hypercuriosity of ADHD

• Loved the below quote from Kyle Porter’s Normal Sport breakdown of the Masters:

This is less a commentary on Rory than it is a commentary on the human condition. We all believe that the next thing — promotion, raise, kid, accomplishment — will finally be the one that fulfills. I know I beat this drum often, and I will continue to do so for the very specific reason that it is a reminder that we are all human. Some hit approaches into 15 at ANGC better than others, but at the core of it all, we are human and to be human is to seek high and seek low for some sort of satisfaction. [Normal Sport]
