• The Tulsa football coach had some strong words for their season opener against OSU (PFB)

• Mississippi State dropped its home-and-home series against Texas Tech after the SEC announced a move to nine conference games this year – OSU is set to play the Crimson Tide in 2027,  could we see Alabama (scheduled to play Ohio State the first year of their series against Oklahoma State) drop their series with the Cowboys? The Indianapolis Star reported that IU loaned its athletic department $34 million to jumpstart the Cignetti era — mostly to pay off the previous coaching staff and bring in Cignetti’s staff.

OSU hasn’t slacked off in its commitment to football. The university paid off Mike Gundy’s $15 million buyout and other assorted costs associated with the coaching transition, plus funded enough transfer portal money that allowed Morris to bring in a class that most rank in the top 10.
