OSU Bullets
• OSU issued a statement after receiving a $50,000 fine from the Big 12 for chants during last week’s BYU game – some general sentiment perceived the fine for OSU as fair (PFB + HCS) Note: in OSU’s release, fortunately, the chant wasn’t as bad (subjective statement) as previously thought, but still not ideal (X) • Tomorrow night, the Cowboys finish their Arizona road trip with a winnable game against a slumping Arizona State squad – ICYMI: the Cowboys got hammered by the top-ranked Wildcats on Saturday (PFB)• The Cowboys have a great running back scenario with bona fide starter Caleb Hawkins and a blue-chip prospect in Kaydin Jones being mentored by him:Bobby Hurley didn’t mince his words when I asked him about ASU’s defense tonight, which gave up at least 75 points for the 9th time in its 11 conference games tonight. “We stink.”@SunDevilSource pic.twitter.com/Rp7mYjcqWA

“The way that Caleb Hawkins handles his business every day is KD gets a front seat to that,” Morris said. “And he gets to see the way that Caleb comes in early, and he takes care of his body with maintenance, and he’s in the training room. [PFB]• The Big 12 is announcing some changes to the conference basketball tournament tomorrow – wild ideas at what it could be here (HCS)
Non-OSU Bullets
• The Seahawks dominated the Patriots last night – you can rewatch all the commercials here. As a 90s kid, I enjoyed the Dunkin commercial with all the stars. • FCS power North Dakota State should be announcing its move up to the FBS today – and joining the Mountain West
