OSU Bullets

• Nick Saban’s leaving has set off a chain of coaching hires/departures in college football – currently leaving the University of Arizona job open. Kasey Dunn is someone on a list of potential replacement candidates with his Western ties (On3)

• Former Cowboy Jabbar Muhammad talked about transfer portal interest (247 Sports)

• ICYMI – Five Thoughts from the Cowboys’ loss at Iowa State (PFB)

• For the first time in a long time, OSU is playing in one of the more anticipated non-conference games of the season:

The Razorbacks and Cowboys meet for the first time in 34 years on Sept. 7 in Stillwater. This was an old rivalry played most seasons in Little Rock from 1943 to 1980, but went on hiatus since. And considering this game’s in Week 2, the winner will have momentum ahead of the conference slate beginning.

• Finally watched Barry Sanders’ Bye Bye Barry documentary – solid snow day material. Some of those Detroit folks spoke like Kevin Durant left them (Amazon Prime)

• It’d be nice if Paul Randolph could find a couple of guys like this to coach in Stillwater:

Non-OSU Bullets

• Nick Saban made Alabama too big to fail
• Stop looking for friends and start making them

Incredible shot of that Mahomes’ hit from Saturday night:
