Daily Bullets (May 12): Cowgirls Punched Their Ticket
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• Cowgirl Softball made it into the playoffs – not headed far for their semi-local host they drew (PFB)
• Tough loss for Cowboy Baseball – a winning streak ended as the Pokes lost to Baylor 6-5 in extra innings (OKState.com)
• It doesn’t sound like the Cowgirls are very concerned about their draw in the tournament:
“I think just watching the show, seeing the top 16 seeds, I looked at Audrey and I go, ‘dang, we kind of beat a lot of them.’ … I don’t know how Arkansas is feeling right now, but I bet you they’re not very happy.”
• Happy (late) Mother’s Day to all the Cowboy moms out there (X)
• The former Cowboy landed a blow and locked up gold at the Pan American games:
