A football equipment manager told me the QBs used to line up at or around midfield after practice and try to throw footballs off the crossbar behind the endzone. 60 yards in the air. It was difficult, they didn’t do it very often.
One day Dez walks out there and smokes one off the crossbar, first try. And we were using Alex Cate as the backup?!
