DT Isaiahh Loudermilk Names OSU In Top 2
On Tuesday evening, three-star defensive tackle prospect Isaiahh Loudermilk named a top two, which includes Kansas State and Oklahoma State.
Loudermilk, an 8-man football standout from West Elk, Kansas, has offers from Texas Tech, Missouri, Minnesota, Wisconsin and many others.
“Oklahoma State and Kansas State are probably at the top right now,” Loudermilk told Scout. “Oklahoma State has everything. That was an amazing visit. They have great facilities, and I loved all the coaches. I met some of the players. They really stood out. I was very comfortable there. They like me at defensive end or offensive tackle. I like defense a little more but I’ll play anywhere I’m asked.”
Even better news for the Pokes is the recruiting success in Kansas may also play a factor in Loudermilk’s decision. “Oklahoma State has told me how bad they want me apart of their class,” he said. “It’s good for them that they have Teven Jenkins committed. I would say that’s a very good thing for them. I have familiarity there. A few Kansas guys on the team would be good for me. I’d get to know them much easier.”
Loudermilk is also looking at destinations like Oregon and Arizona State, but admits the distance is a deterrent. Ultimately, it sounds like he will base his decision off of location and familiarity. Two factors that definitely play into the Cowboys’ favor.
