Eric Morris and Co. Sending Out Some of Their First 2027 Offers
A look at some of the 2027 prospects OSU has an eye on.
With the transfer portal mercifully starting to slow down, it appears Eric Morris and his staff have started to turn at least a few eyes toward the 2027 class.
A handful of prospects have announced Oklahoma State offers over the past few days. Here are breakdowns for four of them.
Gus Corsair, OL
A 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman, Gus Corsair is the top player in the state of Kansas for the 2027 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

Those rankings list him as the No. 280 player in the whole class and the No. 14 interior O-lineman in the cycle. Rivals/On3 is even higher on him, listing him as the No. 231 player in the class and the No. 13 interior lineman.
He hails from Hays, Kansas and has also announced offers to Oklahoma, Oregon, Nebraska, Kansas State, Missouri, Kansas, Auburn, Arkansas and others.
Daylon Gordon, ATH
Out of Wiley, Texas, Daylon Gordon lists himself both as a running back and a wide receiver. Eric Morris doesn’t mind a multi-position player (see high school S to college QB Drew Mestemaker or high school QB to college WR Wyatt Young).

According to MaxPreps, Gordon ran for 840 yards and four touchdowns in nine games as a junior in 2025. He also caught 39 passes for 558 yards and four touchdowns. Oh, and he threw for 153 yards and a score.
Listed at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds, Gordon isn’t ranked by the major services quite yet, but it’s only a matter of time, as he’s already picked up offers to OSU, Kansas State, Texas Tech and others.
His highlights are a lot of fun. He’s got a Justice Hill-esque ability to basically cut at full speed, made all the more impressive by the fact that he’s 190 pounds as a high school junior.
Derrick ‘DJ’ Martin, ATH
Derrick Martin plays at Lewisville High School and very much has much of the nation’s attention.
After a great conversation with @PCobbs43 i’m blessed to receive an offer from @CowboyFB !!@__CoachMorris @doug_meacham @Coach_Olla @CoachNBlackwell @modle1112 @JalanSowell @CoachBMathis @DontonioKeshon @OKState247 pic.twitter.com/WODq3WdKib

Like Gordon, Martin lines up all over the place. MaxPreps had him with 339 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns on 50 carries as a junior. He also caught 36 balls for 383 yards and four more scores and had a three-yard TD pass.
Martin already holds offers from Oregon, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arizona, Kansas State, Ole Miss, TCU, SMU, Arkansas and others.
Martin’s highlights makes it look difficult to tackle him in a phonebooth.
Israel Hammons, LB
Hammons hails from Choctaw, as OSU joins the likes of Kansas State, Texas Tech, Baylor and others that have offered.
Of note, his first offer came last January from (drum roll, please) North Texas. The next offer he announced was in June from Tech, meaning Morris an Co. were in on him about five months before anyone else.
After a conversation with @PCobbs43 i’m blessed to say I have received my 8th offer to play at Oklahoma State University!!!@1COACH_CARTER @JakeCorbin @CoachBradClark @Coach_RustyHall @The1CoachSexton @CoachGarf @YellowjacketsFB @TrePorter5 @TheShaqMiller @405Hustleinc pic.twitter.com/KqwD7hzshk

The major services haven’t ranked Hammons as of writing. He’s listed at 6-3, 225 pounds.
