Eric Morris’ Oklahoma State Introduction Scheduled for Monday

Oklahoma State fans will finally get introduced to their new football coach next week.
Oklahoma State on Tuesday announced that Eric Morris will be introduced as the Cowboys’ football coach at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Conoco Phillips OSU Alumni Center.
The event is free to the public, but there is no reserved parking. Attendees should enter the Alumni Center from the Hester Street entrance on the west side of the building. “Gameday orange” is listed as the recommended attire.
Morris was announced as OSU’s new football coach last week, but he has been with his North Texas team. The Mean Green beat Temple this past weekend to secure a spot in the American title game. UNT will play Tulane at 7 p.m. Friday in New Orleans for the conference crown.
If UNT wins that, it would likely receive a bid into the College Football Playoff.
Morris’ Mean Green leads the country in total offense (511.8 yards per game) and scoring offense (46.8 points per game). He was named the American’s Coach of the Year on Tuesday, an impressive feat especially considering four of the league’s coaches were hired by Power Conference programs over the past week.
