ESPN’s College GameDay Crew, Johnny Knoxville Unanimously Picks West Virginia to Beat OSU
It was a clean sweep in WVU’s favor.
The Cowboys are on the road in Morgantown for the Big 12 opener and ESPN’s GameDay crew went all-in on the home team.
To get things started, Desmond Howard said he likes “what Rich Rod is doing in Morgantown” and is picking West Virginia “in a close one.”
Nick Saban claimed ball control as a reason he picked the Mountaineers.
It was no surprise that WVU alum Pat McAfee went against the Pokes. He lauded a great atmosphere in Morgantown at night and called for his team to get “a monumental Big 12 unranked win.”
Celebrity guest picker Johnny Knoxville might have been the closest to picking the Pokes. “I may think that Oklahoma State is going to win but half my family is from West Virginia.”
Kirk Herbstreit brought it home with a clean sweep. He thinks the Mountaineers are just more physical. “I’m nervous. I’m worried for [OSU].” Herbie says he’s still unsure if OSU has a complete team.
The Cowboys and Mountaineers will duke out at 6 p.m. CST in Morgantown.
