Final Predictions: Oklahoma State-Iowa State

Published

on

Back at it. Oklahoma State is back in Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday, where they showed out with a convincing victory over the Texas Longhorns just a week ago. We have our final predictions for today’s contest against Iowa State.

Kyle Porter

Player of the game: With James Washington banged up and Justic Hill getting a lot of attention this week, it feels like a career day for Jhajuan Seales. Iowa State’s defense stinks so you can exploit it in innumerable ways, but I think No. 2 to No. 81 will be the poison of choice on Saturday in BPS.

Bold prediction: OSU will score on a punt return or a kick return.

Final score: Pokes big. I’m thinking 47-20, something in that range.

Kyle Boone

Player of the game: Justice Hill. The run game is firing on all cylinders with the true frosh taking over the helm. Baylor rushed for 469 yards a week ago, so the opportunity should be there today to make his mark.

Bold prediction: OSU will have two running backs eclipse the 100-yard rushing mark.

Final score: Oklahoma State 45 | Iowa State 31

Saturday’s contest against Iowa State is a trap game if there ever was one, especially coming off a semi-emotional win over Texas with a bye week looming. Oklahoma State is too loaded with talent, and Iowa State is a work in progress, to say the least, defensively. But I think this is a week the game plan is to keep all your cards in your hand, which could lead to frustration early. Oklahoma State pulls it out, but it’s closer than we’d all like.
