Football Recruiting: Three Class of 2027 Prospects Announce Oklahoma State Offers
OSU offers a four-star WR and a pair of teammate edge rushers.
It’s recruiting season, as Oklahoma State hosted a Junior Day this weekend.
The Cowboys are still waiting on their first official commitment of the 2027 class, but they did extend three new offers this past weekend. Here’s a breakdown of the trio.
Jai Jones
A consensus four-star wide receiver, Jones ranks as highly as the No. 244 (247Sports) player in all of the 2027 class. 247Sports considers Jones the No. 4 player in the state of Arizona.

Out of Chandler, Arizona, Jones has offers to Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Indiana, UCLA and others.
As a junior at Chandler High School this past season, Jones caught 54 passes for 922 yards and 10 touchdowns. He had north of 100 receiving yards in four games, including a four-catch 160-yard performance against Valley Vista.
Jones, listed at 6-2, 175 pounds, plays both ways, also starring at corner for Chandler.
Also a track runner, Jones has clocked an 11.06 100 meters this year after running 11.02 as a sophomore, per Athletic.net.
Jeron Allen II
A 6-foot-5, 240-pound edge rusher, Allen announced he had received an OSU offer Sunday after speaking with Morris and Greg Richmond.

Out of Cedar Hill, Texas, Allen is the No. 738 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the class, which puts him as the No. 60 edge rusher and the No. 104 Texan in the cycle.
OSU joins the likes of Auburn, Kansas State, Kansas, Mississippi State, and others that have extended offers to Allen. The Cowboys will have a bit of catching up to do, as Allen has already scheduled official visits to Kansas (May 1), Mississippi State (May 29), Wisconsin (June 5) and Kansas State (June 12).
MaxPreps didn’t have defensive stats for Cedar Hill, but Allen’s Hudl highlights show he wreaked havoc coming off the edge for the Longhorns.
Jalen Price
A teammate of Allen’s, Price is a 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive lineman who is also a high-level basketball player.
After a amazing time and conversation with @__CoachMorris @CoachGRichDL I am blessed to recieve a offer from Oklahoma state @TheCoachNWard @TFloss32 @RivalsHS @Rivals @On3 @samspiegs @MikeRoach247 @GPowersScout @GregSmithRivals @turksgolf38 @Coach_D_Wynn @CoachGreedy pic.twitter.com/ZQWF7YS6sD

Here’s the catch, Price is currently committed to Baylor and has been since November. But Price at least still seems open to the recruitment process, as he has an official scheduled to Baylor starting June 19, not long after he visits Kansas State. He also has offers to Auburn, Virginia Tech, Tulane and others.
Rivals considers Price the No. 843 player in the 2027 class, listing him as the No. 76 edge rusher in the cycle and the No. 104 player from Texas.
