Four-Star Bixby Tight End Luke Hasz Includes Oklahoma State in Top 8
Can OSU continue its spree of recruiting well in state?
The Cowboys have picked up Top 100 commits in 2021 (Kendal Daniels) and 2022 (Talyn Shettron), and the Pokes are in the contention to make it three straight.
Luke Hasz, a 2023 tight end from Bixby, announced his Top 8 on Sunday: Oklahoma State, Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, LSU, TCU and Arkansas.
Listed at 6-foot-3, 220 pounds, Hasz is the No. 40 player in all of the 2023 class, making him the top prospect in Oklahoma. As a sophomore for the state champion Spartans in 2020, Hasz caught 32 passes for 703 yards and nine touchdowns.
Hasz is familiar with the Oklahoma State campus, visiting for the Cowboys’ passing camp in early June before taking an unofficial visit later in the month. For what it’s worth, OSU was also Hasz’s first offer, coming back in December.
The Cowboys’ staff has done an exceptional job at recruiting in state lately with Talyn Shettron, Tabry Shettron, CJ Brown, Braylin Presley, Mason Gilkey, Jaleel Johnson and Gabe Brown all committed in the 2022 class. OSU also has a solid pipeline laid out to Bixby, as Brennan Presley, Brendon Evers, Jordan Reagan and Clayton Barbour all on OSU’s roster heading into the 2021 season.
