Four-Star Class of 2020 Hoops Star JT Thor Names OSU in Top Five Schools
From late to arrive to potential frontrunner, OSU has landed inside the top five for Class of 2020 forward JT Thor.
OSU was one of the last to offer him after a strong summer earlier this year and has since surged in his favor. A one-time five-star recruit in the 2021 class, Thor reclassified to 2020 and now rates as a consensus top-50 player in 2019. He’s visiting Oklahoma State this weekend along with five-star Cade Cunningham, four-star recruit Rondel Walker and AAU teammate Mike Miles.
OSU currently reads 100 percent as the favorite to land him at 247Sports and at Rivals, where experts believe the late surge is indeed real.
Thor is a 6-foot-8, 190 pound power forward from Norcross, Georgia who also has Kansas, Kentucky, UCLA, and Georgia in his top five. Notably, he eliminated Arizona, Maryland and others from consideration in his cut on Friday.
